Well, tough decision. But both versions are actually inferior to what the Beatsteaks made out of it:

...and since I knew their version before I Katie Melua's, I prefer this one. Katie's version is soft and cuddly, but it's also kinda boring.
Regarding the original: I have to admit, it kinda fades in comparison to the two covers... but it's still a great song.
